De Wonderdokter plot

Steven Martens wants to be a village doctor. His cousin Boone, a cunning farmer, manages to get Steven the job. This way, Steven quickly gets an extensive patient file. Steven refuses to marry Marietje, the mayor's daughter. That's why the village potentate opens an investigation into Steven. He wants Steven to show his diploma.
