De Boot naar Spanje plot

George (Martin) and the retired Desiré (Berghmans) are two sworn comrades. Life at Desiré's home is made pretty miserable for him by his wife, son and daughter-in-law. Only his granddaughter cares about him. It will soon be Sinterklaas. They want to earn some money like Piet and Sint, but things really don't want to go smoothly.
