Curtain Up plot
Producer WH Derwent Blacker doesn't really like it, the new play that his theater company has to study. Things don't get any better when Catherine Beckwith, the play's author, comes along. She is the aunt of one of the theater directors. And of course she has her own ideas about how it should be played. As if the fights between Derwent Blacker and Beckwith weren't bad enough, real life starts to interfere with the actors.
