Cowboy from Brooklyn plot
Singer Elly Jordan and his band end up broke on a Wyoming ranch run by Jane Hardy. While they are there making music in exchange for a hot meal, Elly is overheard by Broadway booker Roy Chadwick. He sees Elly for a real cowboy and wants to make him a star. What he doesn't know, however, is that Elly isn't a cowboy at all, knows nothing about the Wild West, and what's more, if all animals are dead, including horses...
