"HOOT GIBSON TALKS"
Student Clarence Butts pretends to be sickly to avoid having to work in his father Everett Butts' foundry. Mr. Butts has a doctor thoroughly examine Clarence, and the doctor reports that Clarence is faking it. He arranges for Clarence to work at a Wild West show this summer. There, Clarence falls in love with Calamity Jane, the show's sharpshooter. She is a man-hater, but Clarence vows that he can win her over before the end of the summer.
