Costa Azzurra plot
The Cote D'Azur, with its fascinating sea and golden rocks, is like a magnet that attracts the rich, young and old, couples in love and singles to warm unfulfilled dreams. This film takes a cursory yet sensitive look at a variety of characters in the passing parade. Tired of the usual rural life, a young couple from the province split up when the girl takes part in a contest "for the most beautiful legs" and, to her husband's surprise, wins. There is also a beautiful young lady who is accosted by an elderly millionaire and who buys her clothes and jewelry, everything she has never had, but otherwise does not treat her with respect. We also see a couple selling fruit; the wife wants to be a movie star but the director prefers her husband. Some see their dreams realized, but others awaken with a shock...
