Coq en Pâte plot

Lion defends a bum at the request of his fiancée Nicole. The latter is acquitted but is angry because he has to spend one day in prison. When Nicole hears of this, she asks her fiancé that he should visit the unfortunate. Lion instead visits one of his friends, engineer Roger, who has returned from Africa. Roger is offered shelter by the young woman, who thinks he is the bum.
