Convincing Clooney plot

Jackson, a young Los Angeles theater actor, is constantly rejected both as an actor and as a writer of his first screenplay. While his best friends Chris and Disco have always been able to put a positive spin on his failures, it's Amy who turns things on a positive note. As a young newcomer to the theater world, she is the only woman who can appreciate his artistic efforts. Jackson is caught between a desire to succeed and a desire to take care of the one person who took care of him.
