Andrew wants to buy a gift for his daughter this holiday season, but the price of the toy is increased because of the Christmas season. His neighbor Dev manages to find one online. However, the store is four hours away from their homes. The two decide to travel together to save Andrew's daughter's Christmas.

Stressed-out father Andrew (Stephen Merchant) reluctantly enlists the help of his neighbor (and polar opposite) Dev (Asim Chaudhry) to retrieve the only remaining toy unicorn he promised his daughter. Merchant and Chaudhry make an amusing pair, but the hackneyed script and Palmer's unsubtle direction prevent this Christmas comedy from setting the mood.
