Bylo Cvrt a Bude Pul plot

The young car mechanic Honza wins a second prize in a competition for amateur singers at the Lucerna Music Hall in Prague. He receives and accepts an offer from the director of the musical theater Alfa in Liberec and steps in just as his predecessor has left after an argument. The leader of the orchestra Cankar soon notices that Honza can't read a note, but that he is musical. Honza thinks he doesn't need to learn anything and that he can do anything if he sets his mind to it. During recordings for the radio, however, things go wrong.
