Bury Us in a Lone Desert plot

When a burglar unexpectedly stumbles upon the plaster statue of a woman one evening and is subsequently overpowered by the old resident of the house, his life takes a surprising turn. A special connection develops between the burglar and the old resident, who has a fervent wish to lie next to his deceased wife for eternity. Together they decide to make a journey through the Vietnamese desert, a very last journey for the old man.
