In Olderdalen, Bør Børson has cemented his position as king of the valley and the richest man with the biggest house. Bør is shocked when he discovers that his father-in-law is becoming more Norwegian than he is. The father-in-law is about to hoist the highest flagpole in the village. Bør can't sit still and watch.
