Beim Nächsten Mann Wird Alles Anders plot
In her own judgment, film student Constanze Wechselburger is a politically committed and emancipated woman. But above all, she is looking for the man of her dreams. Her relationship with the trainee Albert, a miser by conviction, is already starting to show some wear and tear. Constanze ejects Albert from their common home to free up his hands to find her own prince. A suitable object to fulfill her desire seems to be her teacher, Gottfried Schnabel. A fossil of the '68 movement, it still fights against the institution of 'marriage' and makes spontaneous and ardent pleas for individual gratification. But this 'salon socialist' has also had a wife for many years, whom he still regularly uses, although they haven't lived together for a long time. Meanwhile, the abandoned Albert flirts with the nurse Anna, who pretends to be even more stingy and narrow-minded than himself. And that's even too much for him. Why doesn't he even try a reconciliation?
