Behind the Eight Ball plot

"FUN STARS ! TUNE-STARS! LOVE-STARS! Hep-steppers and Happy Honeys!"

The audience attending the second night of the new musical revue 'Fun for All' at the Green Barn Playhouse comes with great anticipation. After all, on opening night, the show's guest star, Jack Daily, was murdered. But new guest star Wally Raymond is also shot dead during his first performance. McKenzie, the chief of police, wants a third show to be staged next Saturday with a third guest star to set a trap for the killer. However, producer and star of the show Joan Barry and her boyfriend Bill Edwards tell McKenzie that no one dares to act on the show anymore.
