Barabaniada plot

During a funeral, the ghost of one of the deceased gives a snare drum to the drummer of the musical ensemble. The drum has an irresistible attraction to him, which keeps him playing it day and night. Because of the noise, he has to leave the inn where he is staying and then travels from one former Soviet country to another. At every border check, however, the drummer loses all his possessions, until all he has left is his drum.
