Bakk plot
Viðar and Gísli reverse the bypass around the whole of Iceland. With the gear in reverse, sitting uncomfortably in their little car. That is not nine hours, but nine days of delay. Although there may be no delay if you have not planned something. Because as much as Gísli tries his best to convince everyone that he's been planning this for a long, long time, the idea comes on a whim. In fact, Gísli - unemployed, dumped by his wife and broke - just wants to avoid his father in the hamlet of Hellissandur. His childhood friend Viðar is in the wrong place at the wrong time and goes along against his will.
