"Life is short. Take the money."
Andy Fielder is a depressed Chicago accountant who steals $3 million from his boss, a corrupt plastic surgeon. Then he flees to Los Angeles to start a new life. Andy, on the other hand, is soon hunted down by his boss's men. He will have to find a way to outwit his pursuers and keep himself and his best friend alive. In addition, Andy wants to keep a promise to his dying father.
