The nineties. White Jolie Jolson is discovering herself. At his school he does his very best to become a good basketball player, but this is not easy. Things are not going smoothly on the relational level either. The relationship with his dark girlfriend Henrietta requires quite a bit of attention and he actually prefers to be dark himself. Not surprising, because he is the grandson of the legendary Al Jolson. A famous white singer who always painted himself black for his jazz and blues performances.
