American Dreamer plot

Phil is an economics teacher and aspiring author who dreams of a better life. He hopes to own a house of his own, but gets little help from his real estate agent. He then takes matters into his own hands. He seizes the opportunity to stay in the mansion of the sick widow Astrid until she dies, after which the house will belong to him. His plan is not going smoothly.
