Amatørene plot

Jan is the failed owner of a filthy hamburger restaurant that no one ever visits. Brent is a frustrated drummer for a rock band of which Iver Mo is the lead singer. Two hopeless thugs are hired to kidnap Iver Mo. When everything goes wrong, Jan somehow finds Iver Mo and turns the "kidnapping of the century" to his advantage.
