Apple owes its funny name to her mother Ingrid. Apple is determined never to lead such a chaotic life as her mother did in her youth, when she had a wild affair on the hippie beach of Spain's Torremolinos in 1967. Meanwhile, the single Apple is already 30 years old and dragging herself from affair. to affair, unable to build a real, orderly life. Only her dog seems to understand her well. But when Apple meets a boat refugee and transvestite Tim/Tina, surprising things happen.
