After her husband leaves her, Lise reluctantly travels to Malta to celebrate her 60th birthday with her daughters. The holiday gets off to a rough start when the sexy and chaotic Ditte and her sensible older sister Sigrid can't agree on how to cheer their mother up. Then when a dexterous bartender named Antonio comes into play, things get even more complicated.
