A Problem with Fear plot

Laurie Harding (Paulo Costanzo) is 'multiphobic', and is afraid of everything: elevators, escalators, crossing the street, spaghetti (and all other dishes with a red sauce) and intimacies. This makes him the perfect customer for Global Safety Inc.'s new product. With the 'Early Warning 2 Safe System' you are warned via your own PDA when danger threatens. Laurie is the first person to test the device, but when people around him die from things he fears, he is sure that he is to blame for all these "accidents". Laurie finds out he has to cross the street himself to save the world.
