Two friends living on a small island in Brittany discover that one of its inhabitants has won the national lottery. The two old villains search for the mysterious winner and try to ingratiate themselves with him before the news spreads. But when they discover that the winner is dead with the winning ticket in hand, they decide to stage a major lottery scam with the help of the entire village to take his place.
