A Hole in One plot

"Transorbital Lobotomy... is it right for you? Ask your doctor."

Ice Town, 1953. Anna believes that a new medical miracle - transorbital lobotomy - will solve all her problems, much to the dismay of her gangster boyfriend Billy. Meanwhile, Dr. Ashton heads to town to perform the new operation on adolescents, veterans, and other troubled souls. On the day the doctor will operate on her, she meets friendly war veteran Tom. But is it too late? Will Anna ever be truly happy?
