A Better Place plot

The ex-yakuza Kenji wants to make a fresh start in America. He visits his friend Shingo in Los Angeles, whose father was also a member of the yakuza but is now a chef in the Japanese neighborhood of Little Tokyo. However, culinary life isn't exactly peaceful either. There is a conspiracy going on where mobsters are trying to force shop owners out of their businesses. Kenji also gets involved and all hell breaks loose.
