Pierre works in a hardware store. He is celibate and basically a grunt. One day a lost Indian comes into his life. She moves into his house. But then he meets a pretty Norman young lady who likes manic ironmongers. What is the similarity between a cow falling from the sky, Pierre, the Indian and the Norman woman? A simple question to ask: Is everything that happens to us really a coincidence?
