"Please adopt me!"

The older members of the Gun & Spear Club together make up the '45 Fathers'. They adopt the mischievous orphaned girl Judith Frazier and her pet, a monkey. Judith wastes no time dealing with the various family issues of her new fathers. Of paramount importance are the trials and tribulations of Roger Farragut, the nephew of the old clever Bunny Carrothers. With Judith's help, Roger seems to be able to resolve his romantic problems with Judith's older sister, Elizabeth.
