Variações plot
António Variações was unique. He was born in a village in the Amares, in the north of Portugal. At a young age he was dissatisfied with his work as a factory worker. He was different, wanted to get more out of life and decided to travel to Lisbon. He wanted to travel, see more of the world, emigrated and started working as a hairdresser. But his love for music and the will to perform was so great that he decided to return to Portugal, because there he could sing in his own language, despite being prejudiced by his appearance and clothing. He knew nothing about music, but fought for his right to do it his own way.
