Biographical film about Carlos Marighella, a Marxist Brazilian writer, politician and guerrilla fighter who lived in the twentieth century. Marighella grew up in a working-class family. As an adult, he is regularly arrested for his criticism. He is even tortured. In 1967 he decides to take up arms himself. He starts with the Ação Libertadora Nacional to oppose the military rule.
