Everest plot

Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain, remains the last great unconquered challenge on Earth in 1921. British mountaineer George Mallory is chosen to climb the impossible for the dying British Empire. For Mallory and his rival, Australian George Finch, climbing Everest has nothing to do with patriotism. Climbing without oxygen, to heights even airplanes can’t reach, Mallory’s successive attempts to reach the summit transform a challenge into an all-consuming obsession.
