The Tower plot
Beirut, Lebanon, 2018. Eleven-year-old Palestinian Wardi lives with her entire family in the refugee camp where she was born. Her great-grandfather Sidi was one of the first to live in the camp in 1948 after being chased from his home. One day he gives Wardi the key to his house in Galilee, which makes her fear that he has lost hope of ever returning. When she searches for it, she hears the testimonies of her various generations of relatives in the camp.
