The Fifth-Column Mouse plot

House mice are targeted by a hungry cat, who invades their idyllic life. When all but one mouse manage to take refuge in a wall opening, the cat promises to the one mouse that failed to escape that he will not harm anyone, provided that he is killed by every mouse in the group is pampered.
