The film can be experienced as quite shocking for the young viewer. The story isn't bad, but I didn't really like it either. Except for the 2 police officers, the humor was nowhere to be found. The animation was further developed in a nice graphical way.

OK.

Always nice to see a video like this. Also dares a bit more in terms of children's films, and I can always appreciate that. Although Kenan keeps it all childish enough and does not go too far, so it is also fine for children to do.

The story is also well thought out, and the animation is well done, although it is a bit wooden at times. For example, the house is animated quite nicely, but the characters are quite annoying. Especially that fat guy.

For the average animation it is a bit darker, but nowhere very scary or very exciting. It's probably scary for kids, but in the end it's doable. Doesn't get a grade because I enjoyed myself anyway.

A pretty decent horror animated film. Not so much for the little ones, because there are some scary moments in it. But it's still an animated film, of course. The concept is well known and appeals to young people when a number of young teenagers investigate according to the principle of, say, Stranger things, Rim of the world or even The Goonies. Heroic and adventurous, rebellious against adults or the authorities, that always sounds tempting.

The story is quite ok and in animation you can lose quite a bit of creativity, although the story of an old abandoned haunted house is certainly not new. The animations themselves are quite ok, the film looks exciting but predictable.

Here and there a beautiful scene such as the opening scene with the girl and her tricycle. Loved watching and my kids too. Definitely worth a deserved pass.
