Man's Best Friend plot
Goofy buys a dog (Bowser) and has trouble training him. As Bowser grows, he becomes more of a problem and angers the neighbors. Goofy goes away for the night and Bowser proves to not be much of a guard dog until Goofy comes home and tries to get in.
