Koet plot

A coot and a ferry skipper live harmoniously next to each other in and on a city river. When a new bridge is built over the river, the skipper is left without passengers overnight. However, the bird, which is busy collecting things for its nest, turns out to be the connecting factor that gives the ferry a reason to sail again.
