Hotarubi no Mori E plot

Hotaru as a young girl is lost through a forest. A mysterious man, who turns out to be a Japanese forest spirit, brings her back to the village and the two become close friends. The forest spirit does not age but is cursed to such an extent that it cannot be touched by humans. As Hotaru gets older and becomes more and more attracted to the mystery man, this becomes more and more annoying.
