"Two incorrigible kids cause a lot of trouble on Christmas Eve"

The mischievous Eric and Patty Purtle spend Christmas with their grandfather, a mad inventor. Eric and Patty wreak havoc at the mall, ruin Christmas dinner, set off a chain reaction in Grandpa's kitchen and ruin their grandfather's favorite invention, a strange, bulky clock. Brother and sister are sent to bed as punishment, but wake up the next day to realize that it is already December 24 and Christmas Eve is being done all over again.
