Another Planet plot

Animation documentary about encounters in virtual simulations of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. The film follows the makers, who come from Poland, Germany and Israel, in the virtual camps. Each environment is different in style and each creator has a different goal for creating this parallel world. The camps were built for several reasons: a German prosecutor's office created a simulation of Auschwitz-Birkenau for an investigation of a 94-year-old suspect; inspired by his belief in reincarnation, a 27-year-old software developer from Israel reconstructs his past life as a Sonderkommando through a virtual exploration of a homemade computer game about the camp; and a German architect who has researched the camp for 15 years is working with an Israeli historian on a highly accurate computer model.
