A Wild Hare plot
Elmer is a stupid hunter who is looking for rabbits. Bugs is a smart, smooth-talking character, who confuses Elmer with his slurring and deception. Elmer is no match for the cunning rabbit, even when he thinks Bugs is dead.

Bugs Bunny's debut, Elmer Fudd, has been around just a little longer. The animation isn't too bad, although the humor is somewhat dated. And Bugs Bunny would likely receive a stylistic update over the years. But the familiar character is already there. Nice animation, but there are better ones in the genre.
