Won in the Clouds plot
dr. Cecil James, along with his daughter Grace and her assistant Mira, leaves for Africa to investigate the activities of Jack Woods, manager of the "Consolidated Diamond Mining Company". Woods has closed the mine and stopped transports, according to him because of a native plague. Woods, who has heard from his men of the arrival of James and his daughter, causes them to be attacked by the native Swahili. The two women manage to escape and Woods then "rescues" them and takes them towards the mine. Sir Henry Blake fears for their safety and sends his son Art after the women. Art manages to evade the gang at the mine, sneaks into the Swahili village and frees Dr. James. Unfortunately, Art himself is captured and thrown into a lion's den. Meanwhile, Woods flees by plane and forces Grace to accompany him.
