"This is the end of man"
It is the future and humanity is almost extinct. A new creature, mutated from man, now rules the earth. The remaining people live in the 'colony', hoping to build a new civilization. But first they must find a cure for the mutations that threaten their existence. To do that, they have to experiment with a girl named Laura. Instead of sacrificing herself for the greater good of others, Laura flees to seek refuge in something that may not even exist: a legendary safe haven beneath a mysterious red star, where life must be perfect. But to find that place, she must brave a wilderness infested with creatures.
