Sumurun plot
Baghdad, ninth century. The old sheik and his son are both in love with the same woman, Zuleika, better known as Sumurun, the most beautiful woman in the harem. However, she does not like the two men, because she is madly in love with the cloth merchant Nur-Al Din. When a touring theater company visits Baghdad for a few days, Zuleika gets less attention from the two gentlemen. In the meantime, they are seduced by an exotic belly dancer who performs with a hunchback magician. The dancer plays father and son against each other, with the aim of getting their gold, and that is not without bloodshed.
