Da She plot
Lin is a well-known researcher who has been derided in academia for his theory about a legendary plant. With this he would be able to heal his sick daughter. A pharmaceutical company does lend a listening ear and asks Lin to accompany an expedition to a remote island where the plant is believed to grow. Lin travels by boat along a river with a group of people. In the jungle, however, they run into a problem: the unconfirmed wartime reports of large and dangerous beasts on the island turn out to be true.
