Scape plot

"On the Great Frontier, there's a forest no man should enter."

Morrowbie Jukes travels along the Great Frontier in the early 1800s to find a new life for his wife and himself. But he loses sight of the caravan he is traveling with and ends up in a colony for the sick somewhere deep in the woods. Once in the colony, no one is allowed to leave. The woods are guarded by a mysterious figure called The Colonel. However, Morrowbie wants to return to his wife and tries to escape.
