Maika plot
Eight-year-old Hung mourns the loss of his mother, who passed away from an illness. The relationship with his father is tense, his best friend has moved and the greedy landlord tries to evict them from their apartment. One night, while admiring the night sky from the roof of his apartment building, Hung witnesses a meteor shower and a shooting star landing in the countryside. When Hung investigates, he finds not a star, but a new alien friend: Maika. She is looking for her lost friend and a way back home. Hung decides to help her.
