Le Frère du Guerrier plot
In the thirteenth century, in the south of the kingdom of France, two brothers lead different lives. Thomas, the eldest, is an adventurer, earning a living as a mercenary, and is experienced and eager for battle. Arnaud, his younger brother, continued to live in the family home with his mother, who was known throughout the region for her healing abilities. He is married to Guillemette, a beautiful young woman, who, however, suffers from a club foot. They have a daughter together. When his mother dies, Arnaud becomes the keeper of the valuable medical science he learned from her.
