Kray plot

Shortly after the end of World War II in the Siberian hinterland, the warrior Ignat goes to a small village and stirs the population with his ways of driving a locomotive. For him, the locomotive has become a fetish and its speed an outlet. Finally, he goes to an island where there is an abandoned locomotive that he wants to try to restore. Along the way, he meets a German woman who spent the war alone on the island. She helps him restore the locomotive.
