Into the Primitive plot

American heiress Jennie Leslie, Reverend Cecil Winthrope, and alcoholic Thomas Blake are shipwrecked on a deserted island. Initially, Jennie remains close to Cecil, preferring his British upper-class background to Thomas, who is a man of the people. However, Cecil proves to be completely ineffective at survival, and so both he and Jennie depend on Thomas for food, clothing, and protection.
