I Tromboni di Fra Diavolo plot

Napoleon's troops invade Italy. King Ferdinand flees and the bandit Fra Diavolo is forced to defend his property. Colonel Chamonis occupies the castle of Arrigo Forzano, whose daughter Cristina is secretly engaged to Fra Diavolo. Cristina is captured by the French. When they learn that she is in love with Fra Diavolo, they threaten to execute her if he does not surrender. They plan a trap for him at the Capuchin Monastery where he and Cristina plan to marry...
